Queen's restaurant, Church street Bangalore

This restaurant is one place which is difficult to spot, but once y0u spot it, you can't just wait to enter.....this because the aroma of food being prepared in the inside, comes on to the road. So you are actually satisfied with the food before you eat it. I particularly like the ambience, and it goes well with the taste of the food. The aloo dum, was mouth watering. When you wait outside to get a place to sit, you become impatient not because you don't have enough chairs to sit, but because the aroma from kitchen is so good and tempting that, actually after a point your impatience is lost and you actually want to wait and taste the food. YOu don't need anything else to attract people to the place, the ArOMA itself is enough. The masala used is very unique. Starters are good........particularly the Starter which is made from Aloo. You should visit the place.......only when you have enough time. But it's worth the wait.

Hotel Samrat, Near Iskcon Temple

The South Indian thali was good. Particularly the Rasam was served hot, the taste of tomato was prominent. Strongly recommend the Gulab Jamun, nice and soft. The thali has nice combination of North Indian and South Indian dishes. But a slight change is required, in the Vegetable Curries, atleast one of the two curries given should be spicy. Food is unlimited....and not targeted towards the average eater. The location is perfect, next to Iskcon. Which brings in people in good number.
